Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Deterrence in SALINAS, CA. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $20.16 per hour, with a schedule described as DayTime Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM and Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM. This position provides part-time employment with potential to scale to a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control, and compliance with facility policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Deterrence in SALINAS, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
