Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to deter misconduct and identify issues.
• Monitor facility access, verify credentials, direct visitors, and maintain records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate information to leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in La Fayette, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, maintaining visitor records, and reporting access‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
