Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Campus Patrol in Gallatin, TN. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, increasing earnings and experience across multiple sites.

You will perform security procedures, respond to incidents, patrol premises, monitor access, and coordinate with site personnel during deliveries and shift changes.

Qualifications

• Sat 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and coordination with site personnel during deliveries, shift changes, and emergency‑related events.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
