Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol in Prince George, VA. This position offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra hours through our scheduling platform, providing reliability and growth opportunities in a flexible schedule.

Pay rate is $16.44 per hour. Duties include monitoring access, patrolling, documenting activities, and responding to incidents while maintaining a professional presence on site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol in Prince George, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
