Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Crown Point, IN. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts with the option to earn more by picking up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide security coverage at a technology-focused site, perform patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and submit clear activity reports. A valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required where driving is involved.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Crown Point, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policy, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
