Allied Universal in Parkesburg, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced to provide dependable, flexible coverage at an assigned site. The role offers opportunities to earn more by taking additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will perform customer service oriented security tasks, respond calmly to incidents, and help maintain a safe shopping environment. The position requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma, and background check; pay is $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of incidents and daily activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol in Parkesburg, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Customer Service Experience (B219)

• A background in customer service is required. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and visitors.

Job Schedule

Wed 04:30 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
