Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Logistic Center Screening at our San Diego, CA site. This role offers a fixed anchor shift with a six-month commitment and flexible options to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or deliveries entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures and report prohibited items or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Verify identification, visitor authorizations, and delivery credentials while maintaining accurate logs and required documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the business and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Logistic Center Screening in San Diego, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Loss prevention experience is preferred.


• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
