Allied Universal in Camden, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk to provide reliable security at a bank lobby. You will handle visitor screening, access control, and professional customer interactions while maintaining logs and safety protocols.

The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. A background check and drug screen are required; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a financial institution front desk by following site procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor visitor entry, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Answer phones, direct guests, and communicate professionally with bank staff and service providers.
• Observe lobby activity, report suspicious or unauthorized activity, and deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Access Systems in Camden, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat09:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at a financial institution front desk by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor visitor entry, verify identification and appointments as required, issue appropriate visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Answer phones, direct guests to the appropriate personnel or areas, and communicate professionally with bank staff and authorized service providers.
• Observe lobby and front-desk activity, report suspicious, unusual, or unauthorized activity to designated personnel, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
