Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Management in Atlantic City, NJ. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.75 per hour, with a daytime schedule and expected responsibilities at a residential site, including front desk duties, access control, and incident response while maintaining a professional lobby presence.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a residential location.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and package logs.
• Monitor building access points, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems, and report suspicious activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to resident requests, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate emergency personnel when needed.
• Maintain a professional presence in the lobby area and help to deter unauthorized access through courteous access control and adherence to established procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Management in Atlantic City, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
