Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout industrial production areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Fire Response Patrol Driver in Fairless Hills, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

1. Valid Driver's License:

   • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that involve driving company vehicles or require travel as part of job responsibilities.

2. EMT Certification:

   • Candidates must hold a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (C127). This certification is crucial for positions that involve emergency response and medical assistance.

3. Previous Firefighting Experience:

   • Applicants must demonstrate previous firefighting experience (C129). This experience is necessary for roles that require knowledge and skills in fire safety and emergency response.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess EMT certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have previous firefighting experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
