Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Point Operations in Topton, PA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to boost earnings.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Entry Point Operations in Topton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Security Experience:
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience prior to employment. This experience should be verifiable and relevant to the position for which the candidate is applying.
• Valid Driver's License
  • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.

Job Schedule:

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and facility concerns.
• Complete accurate reports and documentation for visitor activity, incidents, access-control issues, and daily operations in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
