Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Queue Management in Plant City, FL with fixed anchor shifts and flexible capacity to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform. • Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s licence required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and directing visitors.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, loading docks, and perimeter.
• Maintain logs and reports for visitors, deliveries, incidents and other security-related activities, and inform Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Queue Management in Plant City, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution centre.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorised personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorised activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or licence is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s licence will be required for driving positions only.
