Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Credentialing in McDonough, GA. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts with fixed-site hours and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay is $17.00 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment. The position supports a part-time schedule designed for income stability, while offering potential progression to full-time hours up to 40 per week and access to paid training programs

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at a retail distribution location, verify authorization for entry and exit, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records as required by site procedures.
• Control access for employees, vendors, and vehicles entering restricted areas, escalating unauthorized access attempts or credential concerns according to established protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.
