Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution center.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit for associates, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and access-control logs; issue and recover badges, keys, and other authorized access items as directed.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
