Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Emergency Response in Greensboro, NC. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six‑month commitment and the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry per site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner per established protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear incident reports and logs; maintain proficiency with equipment and comply with laws and Allied Universal policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Emergency Response in Greensboro, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation; maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess 5+ years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
