Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Help maintain orderly entry and exit of people and vehicles, including checking deliveries and coordinating access with site representatives as needed.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Event Review Driver in Topton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Security Experience:
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience prior to employment. This experience should be verifiable and relevant to the position for which the candidate is applying.
• Valid Driver's License
  • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
