As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Credential Enrollment in Topton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Security Experience:
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience. This experience should be documented and verifiable.
• Valid Driver's License:
  • Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located. A copy of the driver’s license will be required during the hiring process.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:
  • Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks and communication.
• Customer Service Experience:
  • Previous experience in customer service roles is advantageous and will be taken into consideration during the selection process.

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying identification, authorizations, visitor registrations, and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access‑control logs and communicate access issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production‑area access routes, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
