Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol in Palo Alto, CA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, providing reliable hours and earnings potential.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, providing directions and assistance to visitors while reporting suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol in Palo Alto, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
