Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credentialing in Clermont, KY. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and bonus opportunities by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service, perform access control at a food and beverage production site, monitor entry points, respond to incidents, and support site safety. CPR/First Aid and badge experience are preferred. Pay is $18.58 per hour.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access‑related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, to help identify unauthorized access and other security‑related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly flow of personnel and vehicles at access points while following established site and food‑production requirements.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
