• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, shipping zones, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Document daily activities, incidents, access exceptions, and maintenance concerns with gates and badges.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Verification in Ashland City, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, access exceptions, and maintenance concerns involving gates, doors, badges, and other access-control equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
