Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Systems Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. This role provides reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

The position offers a pay rate of $21.00 per hour and a schedule of DayTime Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM. It focuses on customer service, security procedures, patrols, access control, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and contact appropriate personnel per site protocols.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs and shift communications.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Systems Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.


• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed by site protocols.


• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
