Allied Universal in Caledonia, MS is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a government critical infrastructure site. You will carry out armed patrols, control access, respond to incidents, and follow site policies.

Pay rate is $22.08 per hour with a fixed anchor shift and optional extra shifts. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with income stability and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule

Qualifications

• 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures at government critical-infrastructure locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Maintain patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity records per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Caledonia, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at government critical‑infrastructure locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity records, in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
