Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Verification in Dade City, FL. This position offers reliable hours with anchored weekly shifts and the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts across sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and manage access control systems, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report access irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access control logs.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Verification in Dade City, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Monitor and manage access control systems, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and report access irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access control logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
