Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Morgue Access Security in Warrensville Heights, OH. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with additional shift options through our scheduling platform.

You’ll help provide security for a healthcare site, support patients and staff, and have the opportunity to earn more by picking up additional shifts. This is a part-time role with weekend hours available.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and others by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and security observations accurately and promptly per Allied Universal and site requirements.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Morgue Access Security in Warrensville Heights, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
