Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Mayfield Heights, OH. You will provide security services at healthcare sites, respond to incidents, and maintain a professional presence with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening and access-control procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activity accurately and communicate to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol in Mayfield Heights, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and access‑control procedures while maintaining a professional and respectful presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
