Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Savannah, GA. Earn $16.26 per hour with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

The role includes access-control duties, customer service, and routine site patrols at a retail distribution location. Candidates should have security experience and be able to pass background checks and a drug screening where required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per law.
• Subject to drug screening where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing deliveries and personnel as directed, reporting unauthorized access attempts, discrepancies, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in SAVANNAH, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
