Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Enhanced Part Time Front Desk at a financial institution in Glendora, NJ. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Checkpoint in Glendora, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 09:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a front desk within a financial institution, following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor access records.
• Monitor access to the facility, direct guests to appropriate areas, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information, and assist with routing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
