Job summary

Allied Universal – a leading security and facility services company – is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Asset Protection in Cincinnati, OH. This part-time role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and an option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

You will provide exceptional customer service, perform patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document daily activities per site requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and retail associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the luxury retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter, to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Asset Protection in Cincinnati, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.12 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
