Security Officer - Armed - Flexible Availability in Cincinnati, OH is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Thursday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with site post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or observed concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable events while maintaining professional interaction with employees, visitors, and contractors.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
