Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations Support to provide reliable security services at a designated site. This role offers flexible scheduling with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts for higher earnings.

Responsibilities include client, visitor, and employee security, conducting foot and vehicle patrols, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting reports per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, ATMs, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual or unauthorized activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with management and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain awareness of conditions throughout the location and complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations Support in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue08:00 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
