Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Licensed Driver in Houston, TX. You will provide customer service to visitors, customers, and employees, perform site-specific procedures, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

This role offers reliable fixed shifts with six-month commitment, plus Earn More, Claim-A-Shift scheduling to pick up extra hours across sites.

Formación

• Valid driver’s license required.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to retail location visitors, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Licensed Driver in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
