Job summary

Allied Universal in California is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for Hesperia. This role provides reliable, flexible hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to grow earnings and experience within a leading security services company.

You will protect visitors and staff, respond to incidents, patrol facilities, monitor access, and report security activities while adhering to site procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government human services location by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, professionally, and in line with emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and direct visitors to appropriate public service areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and security activities per Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Mobile Patrol in Hesperia, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 06:45 AM - 03:45 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government human services location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors to appropriate public service areas while reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
