Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required by law and policy.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

• Be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) years old as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incidents.
• Communicate security concerns to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Patrol in Fontana, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day: Thur, Time: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related concerns and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
