Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced (Unarmed Driver) at our Springfield, MO site. This flexible role offers a fixed shift, weekly anchors, and the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, administrative areas, equipment areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver in Springfield, MO

Pay Rate: $16.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
