Job summary

Allied Universal in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced to provide reliable, customer-focused security services at a designated site. You will work Fri 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM, with options to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

• Conduct regular patrols of building, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter security threats.
• Document daily activities and maintenance or access-control concerns promptly.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Driver Patrol in Cincinnati, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Fri 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and financial‑services personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the commercial property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and maintenance or access‑control concerns accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
