Allied Universal in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Loss Prevention to deliver customer service, protect high-value merchandise, and maintain a secure shopping environment. This part-time role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will work at a luxury retail location, follow site procedures, perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents professionally while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols at the assigned site to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity; assist with incident documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Loss Prevention in Cincinnati, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.12 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sun 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the luxury retail location, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and customer traffic, report suspicious activity, and assist with incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Help protect high‑value merchandise and support a professional shopping environment through visible presence, courteous communication, and adherence to established security‑related protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
