Allied Universal in South Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced (Armed Patrol Driver Coverage) to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and a Texas Level III Armed Certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by following site procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, contacting local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales and receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe for security issues such as shoplifting or trespassing; document incidents per site procedures.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with policies and site requirements.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver Coverage in South Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur04:00 PM - 11:30 PMFri04:00 PM - 11:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe for security-related concerns such as shoplifting, trespassing, or suspicious activity, and document incidents according to site procedures.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
