Job Description

As a Security Officer EMT Certified in Lewisport, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support a welcoming, secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access for deliveries, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with established manufacturing facility procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help identify unauthorized activity or access concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an EMT certification.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
