Allied Universal in Berea, KY is hiring a Security Officer Entry Screening to safeguard facilities in a manufacturing/industrial site. You will be at entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitors, and support a secure environment while delivering professional customer service to employees and guests.

This full-time, hourly position offers daytime shifts, a starting pay of $14.75 per hour, and access to smart tools, training, and benefits.

Formación

• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control movement of personnel and vehicles per site policies.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Document daily activities, access-control events, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and logs.

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Berea, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees and operations. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, use computer or tablet systems as preferred, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
