Job summary

Sentry is seeking a Security Officer to monitor multiple properties, respond to emergencies, administer access control, and provide immediate medical support when required, protecting associates, visitors, and assets.

1st shift 5:30am–2:30pm and 2nd shift 2:30pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday, with rotating 3rd shift weekends. Night, weekend, and holiday availability may be needed. Competitive pay and robust benefits support your safety and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent work experience).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Medical or EMT experience preferred.
• Observation and problem-solving skills.
• Communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills and confidentiality.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• ASIS membership encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior areas to prevent and detect risks.
• Monitor cameras and access control systems; identify unauthorized individuals.
• Analyze and respond to emergencies, taking command of the scene.
• Provide medical attention when required and assist emergency personnel.
• Escalate risks based on severity and conditions.
• Complete incident reports on irregularities and safety issues.
• Inspect safety equipment (AEDs, extinguishers, alarms) regularly.
• Assist with logistics like travel pool car/key sign-out and logs.
