As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Emergency Readiness Patrol in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and team members while supporting a secure environment. Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site requirements.
• Maintain awareness of technology assets, delivery areas, and other designated locations during patrols, escalating security-related concerns through established communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
