Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Electronic Credential Administration in Allentown, PA to safeguard clients across industries. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support visitors with excellent customer service.

This full-time role pays $18.50 per hour and requires basic computer or tablet proficiency, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Shift schedule runs DayTime Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Computer or tablet literacy is preferred.
• Candidates should be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and meet state licensing where applicable.
• Background check and drug screen are required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel per site policies.
• Monitor and control facility access by verifying credentials and directing approved personnel.

As a Security Officer Electronic Credential Administration in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and supporting visitors and employees with exceptional customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Navigating operating systems and software applications.
  • Utilizing email and communication tools effectively.
  • Performing basic troubleshooting for common technical issues.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, documenting arrivals and departures, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
• Maintain accurate logs, access records, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
