Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Educational Mobile Patrol in New Milford, CT. You will provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors while patrolling educational locations and responding to incidents and alarms.

Role includes day/evening shifts with a schedule that supports education settings. Earn $20.00 per hour with opportunities to grow within a leading safety and facility services company.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or families while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting suspicious conditions and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
