Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Driving Security Officer in Woonsocket, RI to protect patients, visitors, staff and vendors across a healthcare setting. The role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring entrances, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering courteous service.

You will drive on duty as required, have a valid driver’s license, and support site procedures with clear communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
