Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Woonsocket, RI to serve clients across healthcare facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

A valid driver’s license is required to drive on-site and ensure safety and customer service. As part of a dynamic, patient-focused security team, you will collaborate with staff to deter incidents, assist visitors, and support a welcoming environment

Job Description

As a Security Officer Route Patrol Driver in Woonsocket, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, employee and vendor entry, and adherence to facility access requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
