Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in Warsaw, IN. You will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, maintain a visible presence, respond to alarms, and provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour, and includes access to Allied Universal’s benefits

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and request assistance when needed.
• Document patrol activities and incidents accurately per reporting requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff while following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional assistance when appropriate.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
