Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Screening in Baldwinsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct patrols, and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents while communicating with visitors and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying identification, visitor authorization, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate access-control, visitor, and incident documentation, including issuing and collecting temporary credentials as assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
