Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a full-time, overnight driving role in Purchase, NY. You will patrol, deter security incidents, and provide exceptional customer service at a food and beverage location.

Position requires NY Security Guard license, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work 11:00 PM–07:00 AM shifts Tue–Sat. Training and career growth opportunities are offered by the company.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for visitors and delivery personnel, and maintain visitor/vehicle records.
• Report facility hazards, damaged equipment, unsecured doors, and other security concerns for follow-up.

Job Description

Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driving Role in Purchase, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

Pay Rate: $19.25 - $20.25 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and documenting observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter to help identify irregular conditions and support site operations.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for visitors and delivery personnel, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle activity records.
• Report facility hazards, damaged equipment, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns to appropriate personnel for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
