Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites applications for a Security Officer Driver Visitor Management in Monroe, MI. This role focuses on access control, customer service, and safeguarding personnel and premises at an industrial manufacturing site.

You will patrol, verify credentials, manage visitor passes, and respond calmly to incidents while coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access for delivery vehicles, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site procedures, directing them to designated areas when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
