Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Response in Fairfax, VA. You will monitor retail locations, patrol areas, and assist visitors while providing excellent customer service and quick response to incidents.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies using established retail protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail property and entrances.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established retail location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
